Every month, Tzu Chi volunteers undertaking planting trees projects either in Lane Cove National Park or other areas in the Ryde local government area. We have been participating in this activity since 1990.
To apply one of our major missions in practice that is Environmental Care, the Planting Trees Projects help the environment. Trees provide a number of important environmental benefits to our community and wildlife. These benefits include improving our air quality, helping to control and reduce soil erosion and providing habitat for wildlife.
